Yinghua Lu

Yinghua Lu is currently pursuing his PhD in philosophy at Southern Illinois University, joining the Phenomenology Research Center in Fall, 2011.  He is currently focusing on a phenomenology of moral emotions, inquiring into the possibility of a phenomenological reading of the Confucian tradition, by comparing the notions of moral emotion in Mencius, Wang Yangming and Max Scheler. His research is funded by a generous research grant from the China Scholarship Council (for 2010-2014).

Your donation to the Center will help us continue to fund and to sponsor future and current research on topics related to phenomenology. It will also help to support the Center's archival project, speakers, and other activities related to phenomenological research. Your support is greatly appreciated.
