Thomas Ruble is primarily interested in German phenomenology and the history of its emergence and development. He is presently completing his MA thesis on Max Scheler’s later philosophy, with special attention to Scheler’s metaphysics and ethics in contrast and comparison to those of F.W.J. Schelling. He is a student at SIU, and joined the Phenomenology Research Center as an Assistant to the Director and archivist in Spring of 2013.
