Professor Christophe Bouton (Université Michel de Montaigne • Bordeaux) is going to be at the Phenomenology Research Center in the first week of March for a couple of lectures:
The lecture Time and Freedom, from Kant to modern physics will be held in the DeJarnett American Heritage Room at Morris Library, Southern Illinois University. The lecture will be Tuesday, March 5th, 4:00 PM.
Wednesday, March 6th, 9:30 AM, professor Bouton will present he lecture Vocation and Time. This lecture will be held in the Phenomenology Research Center, at Faner Hall, Room 2514, Southern Illinois University.
Christophe Bouton is Professor of Philosophy at Michel de Montaigne University and Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France. His publications include Temps et esprit dans la philosophie de Hegel (Vrin, 2000), Le Procès de l’histoire : Fondements et postérité de l’idéalisme historique de Hegel (Vrin,2004), Temps et Liberté (Presses Universitaires du Mirail, 2007) English translation: Time and Freedom (Northwestern SPEP, forthcoming), and Le Temps de l’urgence (Lormont: Le Bord de l’eau, April 2012).
